Well I'm Back!!

Back, and feeling rather excited about Cape Cod. Its amazing, and something my mom and dad and sisters used to do every summer. It was really cool to hear stories and see old campsites and stuff....like a trip down memory lane, only not my memories. Also, my first Vacation with just my family so that was nice. Now I would post pictures, but mom stole them!!! AHHH!!! So I will get a handle on the picture situation and work that out by tonight, pennsic AND whale watch and stuff.

Oh, the whale watch was spectacular, though no dolphins. :( . Twenty individual whales though, twelve Finbacks, Minkes and Humpbacks. The Finbacks are like the definition of awesome. Second only to the blue whales, they are the second largest animal that has every lived on this planet. They are huge. On the whale watch half of the experience is beign that close to them and really understanding that there are these huge creatures right under you and you can only see them if they want you to. They arn't very acrobatic though, the only sights we got of them was when they rolled up and blew out of their blow hole. They came incredibly close to the boat, so I'm not complaining! The Minkes are adorable, they are pretty small (alittle larger then dolphins) and very quick and fast. They are very acrobatic, but we only saw them rolling and blowing. Then there were the Humpbacks. They are just soo loveable! I think you only get that impressionw when you see them personally, but they are soo like slow and lazy and they are much smaller then a finback but they are thicker and bulky-er. And we saw the roll, or jsut hang with their backs above the surface. We also saw them flip their tails out of the water like when they dive. But the coolest thing was the tail breech, which was a humpback that just stuck the back half or its boday straight out of the water and waved its tail back and forth.
So now i will go unpack....

Touching Base

Time to touch base will you all before I once again find a vacation desination for a few days. No worries, this one will land me home on Friday, but until then, I'll be in Cape Cod in a beautifully quiet hotel called The Blue Dolphin and an early mornig Whale Watch on wedsday. The boat is part of the Dolphin Fleet, and does actual research not just tours, so its an amazing experience for a future Marine Biologist. I found out that on the boat we would see any of the following: Fin Whale, Humpback Whale, Minke Whale, Pilot Whale or Right Whale. But most important to me was the most probable dolphin species, which is the gorgeous Atlantic White Sided. They're stunning, and absolutly perfect for a boat tour as they are very happy to play in the waves made by the boat and jump up high near us.

Here's a pic of a White Sided:

I'll try and post some Pennsic Pictures that my air-headed sister finally returned to me tonight or tomorrow morning, but you might have to wait until Friday. Sorry!

High School Musical 2

Amazing. Wonderful. Spectacular (though slightly overdramatic). The music was great, and the storyline was much more advance then the previous movie. The fact that its the most hypocritical movie series ever created (i.e. the first being about the debate over where a musical stands while it is one, and how singing isn't cool while there singing about it. Also, "I don't dance" in this movie being sung while dancing.)

Chi was here and it was soooo much fun. I've missed her alot. Hopefully, they'll be a sleepover soon.

Now I have just one thing left to say to her. Chi, I'm paying you to clean this kitchen, not play (with) doctor phil. But when I got home there was a stunnign lack of monkeys. This disappointment was unexpected (and by unexpected I mean compleatly expected) esspecially since Jesus is in West Side Story. Now you can just go and be a jerk with new shoes!
Love ya girl!

My Wonderful Welcome Home

I loved Pennsic. Loved it loved it loved it. It was amazing, lifechanging, spectacular. But see me face to face for details, and a longgg entry will be posted with pictures and explanations and such. So yes, returning home an offical scadian (member of the SCA) known as Willa was, though i didn't want to leave, a welcome comfort.

At first.

But, lo and behold, I wake up monday morning sick. I felt like I was dying, I was miserable (so it wasn't just you San, my symptoms were pretty much the same). And finally, today at 2:02 p.m. I feel better. Still in that nervous, is it going to come back stage, but pretty okay. Just annoyed that I can only eat saltines and gatorade for fear of...well...being sick again. Some people have pets that get mad at them when they leave, but I just get a house that curses me. I missed you too house!

Daddy finished my shelf though, so for all of you that I explain where it was going seven thousand times its finally there! Its awesome, totally compleates my room...excapt curtains. Anyway, I love you Daddy!!

Now I just want to scrap book Pennsic. Which seems like something I could actually do...if my camera wasn't at my sister's house where I left them. Yes, I know, I'm an airhead. Is this news to anyone?

Packing (not overpacking, of course)

Well, after I finish listening to the last CD of Harry Potter 7 with my mother (she hasn't finished yet!) I have lots to do. Today, I am going to start with un-packing my bags from the shore. This will lead into organizing and tidy-ing my room so when I get back it will be nice and welcoming. After that, I'll probably play animal crossing to help Marc-Anthony with some stuff. Once thats done, I will pack...but not overpack because my lovely wonderful cloak-making sister doesn't wish that I do so...for Pennsic. Then once dad gets home I have to do some last-minute shopping for snacks or soda and batterys. Oh, and I have to figure out the Igo thing to charge my cell phone and possibly Ipod.

So yeah. Thats my life. At least I still have tomorrow morning/early afternoon.
